IRON CITY FC x DEAD AIR GOALKEEPER DROP — A STATEMENT, NOT A PRODUCT

Football has always been more than what happens on the pitch.

It is identity. It is expression. It is reflection of the world around it.

This goalkeeper kit was not created in isolation from that reality.

THE DROP

Iron City FC x Dead Air are releasing a goalkeeper kit that exists outside of standard release culture.

It is not designed for trend cycles.
It is not designed for volume.
It is not designed for noise.

It is designed with intention.

We stand with Palestine.

That statement is not used lightly, and it is not used as branding language. It is a position of acknowledgment toward a humanitarian reality affecting civilians and communities.

This drop exists in that context.

MEANING BEHIND THE RELEASE

This kit was built around the idea that football does not exist separately from the world it is played in.

We do not believe in separating sport from reality when reality is ongoing.

Because of that, this release carries a commitment:

50% of all proceeds from this goalkeeper kit will be donated to the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (US Boat to Gaza initiative), supporting humanitarian efforts.

This decision is not symbolic. It is structural. It defines how the drop functions beyond aesthetics.

LIMITED PHYSICAL RELEASE

As part of this rollout, there is a single physical expression of this kit.

Only one physical unit exists in-store at Stay Gold Books.

Once it is purchased, it is gone.

After that, the release continues exclusively online.

This was not done for scarcity marketing.
It was done to emphasize presence over mass production.

One object. One moment. One point of access.

Everything else exists digitally after that point.

DESIGN AS LANGUAGE

Every kit tells a story — whether intentional or not.

Goalkeeper kits in particular carry a different responsibility. The position itself is about standing alone, absorbing pressure, and holding space when everything around it moves fast.

That idea shaped this release.

The design is not meant to explain itself loudly. It is meant to be understood through context, awareness, and reflection.

IRON CITY FC x DEAD AIR

Iron City FC has always been built around identity — street-rooted, competitive, and culturally aware.

Dead Air exists in the space between signal and silence — focusing on message, clarity, and disruption of noise.

Together, this collaboration is not about merging aesthetics.

It is about aligning intention.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Football is global.

Which means it is never disconnected from global reality.

When clubs, brands, or communities choose to speak, it is always a choice about whether to acknowledge that reality or ignore it.

This release chooses acknowledgment.

Not as performance.
Not as commentary.

But as position.

This is not a campaign.

It is not a trend cycle.

It is a goalkeeper kit — created with awareness of what it represents beyond sport.

We stand with Palestine.

We are aware of what that means to say publicly, and we are not stepping away from it.

We are standing in it.

Iron City FC x Dead Air
The signal under the noise.
